The Fuzzy Tunnel
I marched straight toward a giant grey wool slipper resting by the armchair leg. Its wide opening looked just like a warm, secret tunnel! Without slowing down, I dove right inside headfirst. The deep fleece lining was wonderfully soft and held a pocket of toasty warmth, but my round hips got wedged tight against the thick collar. I backed out, shook my shoulders, and hurled myself forward again with the exact same leap! On the second try, I wriggled all the way through until my chin popped over the fuzzy cuff. Now I have a warm, padded fortress to watch the room from.
