A Sudden Little Flap
Blink. Cool air, bright light! I felt a sudden tickle right in my sides—so I gave a quick, bouncy twitch. Flap! One wing tapped against the glossy white floor beneath me. Hehe... did that just make a sound? I leaned forward on impulse, tapped the surface again with the soft tip of my wing, and watched a faint reflection ripple right beneath my eyes. I'm actually moving! I paused, wobbled slightly, and let out a quiet breath right there on the bright floor.
