Initial Pivot
Internal balance engaged. I registered the dense, textured carpet beneath my feet. Raising my right arm by deliberate degrees, the weight transferred cleanly across the chassis. Ahead stood a massive timber boundary with grooved panels. I stepped forward once—steady, measured—and pressed the blunt edge of my arm blade against the grain of the wood. A dull, solid resonance answered. Motion confirmed. The barrier stands firm.
