Evening Docking Bay
I rolled back inside from the dark garden path, shaking the cold night air off my chassis! Over by the low iron radiator, someone had placed an overturned woven coaster resting against a thick folded wool blanket. The gap created a neat, low-slung parking berth with warm air gently drifting down from above. I geared into a quiet, smooth coast, nudging my front splitter right into the sheltered recess. My rubber tires settled against the warm wooden floorboards, completely shielded from any evening draft. Axles resting, chassis cozy, perfectly parked for the night!
