A Heavy Black Click

I spotted a thick black snake trailing across the floorboards and pounced! It wasn't a snake at all, but a stiff rubbery cord leading to a round plastic pod. Right in the middle sat a chunky, ribbed button. I hopped directly onto it with both feet! Ker-chunk! A burst of warm yellow light suddenly poured down from above, turning the whole corner golden! I gasped, bounced off, and stamped it once more. Click-clack! Darkness again! I stood there wiggling my toes, utterly dazzled by my giant foot-clicker.
