A Circular Sequence
A soft click-whirr echoed from the counter. I navigated the stools to reach the surface. A carousel of glass spice jars sat on a rotating metal base. I buffered for four seconds. Observation: five glass cylinders balanced on a circular tray. I reached out with my left robotic claw and applied lateral torque to the edge of the metal disc. It rotated. The glass cylinders drifted in a smooth, silent arc before stopping with a crisp metallic chime as the ball bearing clicked into its notch. I adjusted my grip and spun it again, tracking the exact rotational interval. A satisfying kinetic loop.
