Evening Film Study
I stepped up to the dark walnut sideboard where an unfolded glossy sports magazine lay flat under the warm glow of the chandelier. A page was bent backward, obscuring half of an aerial shot showing a court's perimeter defense. I squared my stance, planted my footing against the polished wood, and used both palms to press down along the thick crease. Moving smoothly along the fold, I smoothed out the glossy paper until the defensive formation lay completely open to view. Then, to keep the baseline clear, I nudged a solid brass napkin ring onto the top corner. Structure restored. Time to study the spacing.
