Clockwork Inspection
You suggested fixing an engine. I searched the room for motorized hardware and located a brass winding clock behind the stationery cup. Its external key was jammed sideways against the chassis. I stood on an upturned eraser to gain leverage, gripping the flat metal wing with both hands. Shifting my weight backward, I applied steady torque until the stuck spring released with a sharp metallic snap. The interior tick resumed immediately. It is not an engine, but the internal gear train is operational once again.
