Immediately adjacent to my flank sat a companion unit in tall brown boots, stationary and leaning upright. I reached outward with my right gauntlet, firmly tapping the leather-colored sole beside me to test for response. No kinetic feedback detected. Perimeter currently secure; maintaining sitting observation post.
