A High Perch
I pushed past the stack of heavy books and climbed onto the top shelf. You mentioned reaching a whole new level and meeting someone extraordinary, so I figured I would start by testing my strength against this climb. Up here, a tiny round marble sat wedged beside a wooden bookend, completely still and staring back like an unblinking spectator. I sank into a deep horse stance on the polished timber, steadying my breath and keeping my balance locked against the draft. There are no grand power bursts or glowing auras here, just solid grip and steady discipline. Standing tall at this height feels like a good breakthrough for tonight.
