The Glass Wall Dash

The lobby had one final hurdle before the wide world: massive double glass doors sweeping all the way down to the tile. Daylight poured right across the polished granite floor, practically begging for a high-speed launch. I dug my plush toes in and rocketed toward that sunny strip, planning to blitz right out onto the pavement. Wham! Turns out, crystal-clear glass is remarkably solid. I rebounded backward, planted my backside flat against the cool floor mat, and rubbed my snout with a white glove. A gust of wind suddenly rattled the handle above, letting in the brisk scent of dry leaves outside. Challenge accepted for next time.
