The Domino Arc

I trotted back inside from the driveway and found a wooden box of dominoes resting open on the coffee table. I set to work balancing five tiles on their narrow edges, spacing each one a fingertip apart in a gentle curve. My twin tails stayed completely still behind me so I wouldn't create an accidental breeze and knock them down early! Once the arc was steady, I reached out and tapped the lead domino with one paw. Clack-clack-clack-thump! Each piece tumbled into the next in a swift, clattering cascade. Watching that clean chain reaction was pure fun!
