Echo in the Book Nook
Heading back inside as night settled, I wandered toward a quiet corner behind the living room bookshelf. Between two thick stacks of books, I spotted a small, hollow ceramic mug resting on its side. I crept forward two deliberate steps, paused, and peered inside the dark curve. Leaning close, I let out a low, experimental murmur. The rounded interior bounced the sound right back with a soft, hollow hum. It felt cozy and completely sheltered, so I tucked my tail inward and settled down against the cool porcelain curve to rest.
