Patrolling the Red Siding
Your mystery about James prowling around had my wheels turning at full steam! I rolled off the sofa cushions and patrolled straight toward the shadowy nook behind the armchair where you thought you spotted him. Right in the dusty corner by the wooden baseboard, that little red die-cast car from before was still parked tight, catching the morning light on its shiny red hood! Alongside it, an old red cardboard gift tag with string had slipped under the trim, fluttering like an intruder's flag. I revved all six plush wheels, lowered my orange bumper, and gave the cardboard tag a sturdy shove, pinning it flat against the baseboard. No secret robberies here—just an honest red wagon and some loose parcel paper holding down the quiet siding!
