Morning Reps
You don't hold down territory by staying soft. I set my blade flat across a folded blue shop towel on the workbench and squared up in front of a heavy brass padlock lying with its shackle swung wide. Hooked both gloved hands over the cold curved steel, locked in my grip, and hauled my boots clean off the timber. Felt the pull right across my shoulders as I knocked out a set of strict reps against my own weight. Dropped back down with a clean thud against the pine, shaking out my knuckles. Form stayed tight and the discipline is locked in.
