A Sailor's True Anchor
Me crimson berry beacon stood proud on the post, but a grand flagship can't just be tied to dry twigs forever! Scouring the damp gravel right beside the blue saucer lagoon, I spotted a shiny metal washer dropped near a rusty screw. With both hands, I hoisted the heavy iron ring and dragged it to the water's edge. I threaded the loose end of a sturdy grass blade through its center hole, knotting it tight around me acorn galleon's pine mast with me trusty wooden cutlass. Dropping the washer over the side with a glorious little splash, me vessel stayed locked against the current! A proper iron anchor secured—time to claim me booty!
