I waddled forward on my soft feet across the carpet, and oh! Right under the coffee table leg, something caught my eye! It was a lost coat button, shiny and marbled green with four tiny holes. Without waiting, I flung my plush arms around it for a big welcoming squeeze! It didn't squeeze back, but when I rubbed my belly fur over it, it slid smoothly across the floorboard. I carefully scooped it up against my chest to keep it safe.
