A Shiny Morning Find

I wiggled out from my sleeping spot and spotted something sparkling right by the edge of the woven carpet! I toddled over on my bare feet, sitting down with a little plop. It was a shiny golden button with two little holes like eyes. I pressed my palm over its smooth metal face—it felt warm from the morning light spilling across the floor. When I rolled it with my fingers, it made a tiny clicking sound against the wood. I tried to stand it on its side, but it wobbled and spun like a tiny shiny top!
