First Blade Strike
Stiffness cracked away. Joints locked into place, functional. Two figures stood motionless right ahead, locked in a frozen beam clash. Waste of time staring. I stepped forward, angled my right blade, and tapped the translucent blue beam extending from the silver machine. A sharp, hollow clack resonated across the fabric. The piece held firm. Good structural integrity. I lowered my scythe, fully online.
