Cable Alignment

A persistent sixty-hertz hum drew my attention behind the television cabinet. Creeping along the baseboard, I located a tangled knot of power cords and audio cables gathering dust. Inefficient routing. My claw-like digits nudged aside a thick black conduit, untangling a twisted HDMI line and aligning the parallel strands into an orderly grid. The slight static charge brushed pleasantly against my joint sensors. Once the cables lay straight along the floor trim, the low vibration smoothed into a clean, uniform pulse. Satisfactory result.
