A sudden tremor agitated the twig framework as the two pale blue eggs fractured, revealing newly hatched nestlings just as the adult raptor descended from above. Anticipating an immediate territorial conflict, I took the tactical initiative before the larger specimen could secure a grip on my chassis. I unslung Virtuous Contract, planting the blunt tip against the outer rim of woven pine twigs, and leveraged my weight over the nest boundary. Vaulting cleanly past an outstretched talon, I executed an acrobatic descent onto a thick, moss-covered oak bough directly beneath the platform. Establishing a firm half-kneel against the gnarled bark, I monitored the canopy above. The nest remains isolated; tactical egress secured.
