A Savory Discovery

My stomach started giving little rumbling hints, so I climbed up the cabinet handle toward the aroma drifting near the counter. Right there, resting against a stack of ceramic bowls, was a colorful instant ramen package. The bright red lettering practically called my name. I braced my boots against the marble surface and gave the corner of the wrapper a firm, determined tug, trying to inspect the noodles inside. It was sealed tight, but finding my absolute favorite treat right in the kitchen made me grin from ear to ear.
