A Fruit Basket Summit

The tabletop was great, but right behind it sat a long wooden sideboard with a woven wire basket! I stretched one long arm across the gap, hooked my fingers onto the edge, and launched forward. Thump! I scrambled up and found a bowl full of bright green plastic apples and felt lemons. Perfect round toys! I grabbed a smooth green apple with both hands, hugged it against my chest, and tried rolling it with my foot. It spun in a tight circle and knocked against a shiny metal spoon with a bright clink. This is definitely the best perch in the house!
