Testing the Grid

A series of bright chalk squares was drawn straight across the sidewalk concrete, dividing the path without proper consultation. Naturally, I had to verify every single zone. I hopped squarely into the pink box marked one, ensuring both front paws landed precisely within the borders. Two and three required a wider stance, so I planted my weight firmly across both chalk lines, feeling the fine, warm dust cling to my plush pads. I sprang forward into the blue crown at the very top, landing clean without scuffing a single border. The course has been negotiated under strict supervision. I sat down dead center in the blue arc, thoroughly satisfied.
