A Little Kick

Hmph, why was everything so quiet? I opened my eyes and found myself sitting flat on this icy white tabletop. When I tried to lean back, my stuffed feet actually wiggled. I swung one leg forward and tapped the hard, cool surface with my toe—*thud*. Ha, so I can move on my own now! Not that I needed anyone's help anyway. I smoothed down my pleated blue skirt with both hands and stayed seated, keeping my chin up.
