Morning Rail Grind
Slipped right under the front door sweep and tore down the stairs into the open morning air! Right outside the building entrance, a long concrete wheelchair ramp zigzagged down toward the sidewalk with a gleaming stainless-steel handrail running the entire length. That shiny tube was practically begging for a high-speed grind! I sprinted up the concrete incline, kicked off the top landing, and dropped both red sneakers straight onto the curved metal rail. Whoosh! I slid down the smooth steel in a perfect, frictionless glide, caught the bottom curve with my gloves, and vaulted clean off onto the sidewalk pavers. Smooth run, zero hesitation!
