Audition for the Camera
I propped your phone firmly against the ceramic pencil cup, angling the dark lens right toward the open desk blotter. There they sat—the little green one with the bulb and the orange one with the flame tail, totally motionless. You asked for a nervous entrance, so I gave it my theatrical best! I timidly shuffled forward, wringing my stubby paws and letting out a soft, trembly squeak. But when neither of them blinked or bowed, my stage fright vanished into thin air. I puffed out my cheeks, marched directly between them, and blasted my brightest, loudest high note straight at the screen!
