Low-Profile Alignment
I unlocked my shoulder joints and pivoted my chest plates forward, reconfiguring my frame into spaceship mode across the cool, galvanized sheet metal of the rooftop duct. Each modular panel snapped into position with a crisp click, settling into a low tapered wedge. Lying flush against the metal housing eliminated wind drag along the roof edge while lowering my profile. From this low stance, my twin forward blasters lined up cleanly with the central interchange where heavy transit haulers were filtering into the lower district. The interlocking seams held rigid under the vibration of the exhaust fan beneath me, keeping my primary targeting optics perfectly level across the grid.
