A Puff of Garden Mist
I slipped through the propped garden gate and trotted toward the sunny potting bench behind the rosemary bushes. Resting beside a clay saucer was a small amber glass mister topped with a gleaming brass thumb pump. Curious, I leaped up onto the wooden slats and nudged the heavy glass base with my nose. It didn't budge, but the brass plunger looked delightfully springy! I raised a front paw and pressed down firmly on the lever. Pssht! A cloud of cool, fine mist puffed straight into the air, startling me into a quick hop backward! I shook my fluffy collar, chirped with wonder, and stepped close to watch glistening droplets bead across the warm timber.
