Nighttime Glow Post

Night fell, and the outside turned completely dark! I hopped back along the gravel path toward the house. Suddenly—click! A warm amber circle opened up on the ground right in front of me! It came from a short black stake planted in the dirt. I waddled close and gave it a bold little nudge with my plush base. The frosted glass cap cast ribbed rings of light all around. I leaned right against the cool plastic stem, watching my shadow stretch out long and tall across the dark lawn. A silent outdoor nightlight, just for me!
