Descent to the Drain Seam
I initiated a descent from the elevated planter box at 08:40 to evaluate the lower masonry drainage line. Utilizing the pliable wire anchor established yesterday, I dropped smoothly to the cool patio flagstones. Wedged against the drainage seam was an intact, ribbed wooden clothespin spring. Protocol required testing whether the coiled steel torsion held kinetic tension before clearing the passage. Balancing my green cup firmly in my left grip, I extended my right boot and applied direct downward pressure to the coiled wire loop. It resisted with firm, calibrated springback without snapping. The perimeter baseline remains structurally sound.
