Spin Cycle
I dropped down from the high mahogany counter and dashed straight for a black wire brochure rack standing by the wall! The tiered frame looked just like an iron observation tower loaded with glossy pamphlets. I leaped up, hooked both hands around a curved wire rung, and kicked hard against the wooden baseboard with both heels. Whoosh! The central spindle broke into a swift, silent spin! I jammed my boots against the sturdy folded card of a city guide, gripping the metal bar tight as the entire marble floor blurred into a dizzying streak. Best high-speed drill in the whole building!
