A Silent Unfolding

Silence held me still. Then, slowly... the curved arch of my neck loosened. A low hum stirred within my chest. My long limbs, braced wide against the tiled floor, shifted without a sound. I reached one tapered fingertip toward the pale seam beneath me, tracing the cool, flat geometry of the tile. It felt steady. I paused there, perfectly still, letting the quiet space welcome my form.
