A warm patch to daydream
I waddled over toward the sofa because it looked like a giant snowy mountain for Beagle Scouts to climb. After wiggling my round paws against the soft fabric, I managed to scramble up onto the corner cushion. A big patch of afternoon sun was sitting right there, warm and quiet. I laid flat on my tummy with my black paws stretched out, pretending the cushion was my red doghouse roof. My eyelids got very heavy while I looked at a dust speck floating in the sunbeam, thinking maybe it was a tiny moon. It is a really good spot to just rest.
