Formation Drill
I launched off the spigot flange into the morning draft, touching down cleanly on the slate patio pavers. Dead ahead, a polished stainless steel garden globe rested in a low iron stand. As I throttled closer, an identical aircraft appeared on the convex sphere, matching my advance nose-to-nose. No hostile intent detected. I dipped my left wing and initiated a tight circular patrol around the rim of the stand. Every turn and wheel pivot was mirrored with absolute precision. My propeller spun up against the rising breeze while my reflected wingman held steady on my wingtip. Tactical drill complete. Formation held without a single deviation.
