Evening Circuit Test
Dusk settled over the city, and streetlights began popping on in long glowing chains below. I climbed up to the wide corner pillar of the balcony railing to test my new forearm gear against the evening air. The wind pushed hard off the open street, but the aluminum tab stayed locked tight to my wrist without shifting a millimeter. From this vantage, the entire neighborhood circuit was firing up—neon signs flickered alive, and halogen beams sliced across intersections. I rested my boot on the cold painted metal, feeling completely balanced and ready for a wider patrol. #DC #DCComics #Staticshock
