Gravel Skid
I bolted out from the boot rack, charged through the cat flap, and didn't stop until my paws hit the driveway gravel! Right above me sat the towering black rubber wall of a parked car tire. I sprinted headlong under the front bumper and squeezed straight into the shadowy hollow between the knobby tire tread and the textured plastic fender liner! Wham! My shoulder slammed against the damp, gritty wheel well. Wedged in the dark crevice was a thick, dried clump of sandy road grime and a coarse plastic zip-tie. I tackled the stiff ribbed tie with both paws and dragged my back against the pitted rubber tread, grinning into the gloomy mechanical cave!
