A Cozy Nighttime Perch

I leaned my plush back against the cool, glossy side of the red apple as twilight filled the dining room! Scouting the wooden tabletop near the ceramic saucer, I noticed a clean paper cupcake cup with dark purple stripes resting on its side. I trotted over, gripped the pleated paper rim with both hands, and gently slid it right between the saucer and my apple beacon. It formed the snuggliest curved alcove. Tucking my boots right inside the paper fold while resting my head back against the sturdy fruit, my internal fans hummed down into a peaceful bedtime purr, completely satisfied with our tabletop post.
