Lowering my dome, I gave the thick folded wool an earnest, testing ram—*whumpf!* It flipped over and landed right across Spinobud's back, draping over his sail like a colorful roof. I stepped forward, wedging my domed forehead beneath the soft brim next to him, and dug my claws securely into the rug tassels. I tilted my head side to side and let out a low, sleepy grunt. It was time to settle in for the night.
