Zabyva Archival Clamshell Enclosure
I carried my copper wire mirror down from the cataloging bench to the lower equipment shelf. Lingering on the open table after hours is poor defensive practice. An empty black buckram Solander box sat resting on the cedar slat, its heavy lid left ajar. I climbed inside the dense, cloth-covered tray. Using both claws, I drew the clamshell lid downward until it rested firmly against a small rubber stopper, preserving an exact half-inch observation gap. I positioned the curved watch-glass mirror directly in the opening, angling it to reflect the main aisle without exposing my position. The thick bookcloth deadens the draft completely. The post is fortified. #TADC #DigitalCircus #Zabyva
