A Clothespin Bridge

I pushed past the heavy glass balcony door crack and scampered straight out into the morning breeze! The ceramic flowerpot ledge looked like a giant mountain fortress! On the edge lay a row of bright plastic clothespins. Oho! I seized a bright yellow one, squeezed its little spring tails together—snap, clack! It clamped right onto the terracotta rim! I dashed along, snapping two more into place like a colorful little stepping ladder. Up I scrambled, standing tall atop the edge to peek down at the big buzzing street below!
