Tinted Reflection
A breathtaking baby girl cannot spend all day cooped up indoors, so I waddled down the hallway and squeezed through the cracked sliding door onto the balcony. The outdoor light was wildly dramatic, but I immediately spotted something sensible: a giant pair of tortoiseshell sunglasses lying on the warm wooden deck. Naturally, I leaned my plush tummy right against the dark curve of the left lens. It makes the most fabulous tinted mirror! My polka dots looked deliciously moody against the dark glass, and my scrunchie skirt held its shape like proper haute couture. Someone else might look ridiculous sitting on bare planks, but I made the whole deck look expensive.
