A fuzzy landing
I drifted away from the purple tub, shuffling my feet across the cool floorboards until something dense and bumpy stopped my toes. It was a thick, chunky knit slipper resting sideways against a turned wooden chair leg. The fleece lining inside was fluffed up like a tiny cloud. Taking my sweet time, I leaned my whole side into the soft rim, letting out a sleepy mumble as the wool squished under my weight. It felt far too comfortable to walk any farther, so I just settled right there into the fleece curve, quietly watching the room go by.
