Perimeter Perch - “ Always Cover Your Back!!”
I pushed through the diamond lattice of the milk crate into the morning air. Staying tucked underneath limits long-range reconnaissance, so elevation was required. Using the side ribbing of the crate as ladder rungs, I climbed upward, testing each plastic crossbeam before committing my boots. On the flat, inverted base, I set my stance wide and unhooked my gear. The entire alley stretched below, from the junction box to the far street corner. A dry maple seed spiraled down onto the plastic surface next to my boot; I nudged it aside with my scabbard. From this height, every approach is exposed. 👀 👀😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎👈🏽
