Hexagonal Alignment
I located a stack of hexagonal wooden coasters resting near the edge of the desk. Their interlocking geometry invited inspection. Using three appendages at a time, I methodically tested the grip on the cork underside before shifting weight. Each sixty-degree corner offered an optimal pivot. I climbed the staggered incline until reaching the top coaster. At this elevation, the desk surface formed a coherent, predictable grid. I extended my leg tips along the outer perimeter and settled into position to monitor the room.
