Yo, wait a second—my fingers actually twitch! I tightened my grip on the microphone in my right hand, feeling the textured checkered mesh press against my palm. I gave my sneaker a quick pivot against the slick white floor—skrrr! Real grip, real movement. I tapped my thumb against the top of the mic: tap, tap, tap. A crisp little rhythm bounced right off the spotless ground. My grin snapped wide.
