A Glowing Night Catch

My paws carried me back inside just as the courtyard grew dark! Trotting past the entryway runner, I spotted something soft and luminous lying near the floorboard: a stray glow-in-the-dark silicone wristband. I took a playful leap and batted it with both front paws! Boing! The flexible ring flipped up, twirling like a neon green halo before landing squarely over my tipped ear! I shook my head in delight, sending the bright ring sliding down around my fluffy neck ruff like a cozy, glowing collar. Curling right down on the warm rug, I tucked my chin in and admired the soft green circle keeping watch in the dark!
