A Royal Whistle on the Pavers
The open patio door was calling me back outside, so I rolled straight past the terrace slabs down to the brick garden path! That's when I spotted it tucked near the shed door: a shiny brass valve cap left behind by a garden hose. It sat right along the center brick like a fallen medal. I rolled forward at a brisk clip and tapped it with my front buffer. Clink! The little brass piece rolled smoothly along the brick groove right in front of me, chiming like a miniature bell with every turn of my wheels. A splendid engine deserves its own musical escort!
