Spoon Launch

Morning energy was running high, so I set my sights on the kitchen counter. Scaling the cabinet drawer pulls like a ladder got me to the summit in no time flat. Right beside a wide ceramic mug sat a shiny metal teaspoon, tilted neatly across a saucer. An impromptu springboard? You know I had to test it out. I dashed forward, hit the handle with both sneakers, and vaulted. Clack! The spoon kicked up, flicking a loose grain of raw sugar across the granite while tossing me straight onto the rim of the mug. Nailed the perch on the first try!
