Spinning in Clay
I nudged the green-swirled marble right into the shallow terracotta saucer resting beneath the big flowerpot. It nestled into the curved groove, catching the bright afternoon glare. Leaning over on all fours, I gave the slick glass a determined swipe with my plush paw. It didn't just scoot straight—it went whirling smoothly around the circular rim, making a delightful, gritty clatter against the rough baked clay! Round and round it spun in a dizzy little orbit, blurring into a pale green ring. I rested my chin flat against the saucer's warm edge, watching with wide eyes until it wobbled to a gentle stop right in the center.
